This is a great set of books that are clean, faith-based romance。 I really appreciate the clean, wholesome content。 Fake Engagement Mistake – Lisa ReneeParents can have high expectations for their children, even if the child is grown and has their own ideas about their life。 There is an expectation for Becca to go to college, which is not what she wants to do。 In order for her parents to leave her alone to make her own decisions, she decided to get “engaged” to her brother’s best friend。 As they This is a great set of books that are clean, faith-based romance。 I really appreciate the clean, wholesome content。 Fake Engagement Mistake – Lisa ReneeParents can have high expectations for their children, even if the child is grown and has their own ideas about their life。 There is an expectation for Becca to go to college, which is not what she wants to do。 In order for her parents to leave her alone to make her own decisions, she decided to get “engaged” to her brother’s best friend。 As they maneuver through this “fake” relationship, real feelings develop。The characters are relatable and endearing。 I loved the content and the storyline。 Last Flight Home – Milla HoltSometimes people get stuck in their ways and have a belief that blinds them to other views。 This is what happens in this story。 Macey tends to think of things in black and white and not gray areas。 What she doesn’t realize is that this can make you not follow God’s will and how you treat others。 She does eventually overcome her stubbornness, but it takes her awhile。 Others try to help her along the way。Falling for Maddie Grace – Meredith ResceA feel good story between two people who have known each other for awhile but never acted on their crush。 But then the media starts saying something is there, and tries to state they have been dating, even though they were not and had not seen each other for years。 They get thrown together based on Maddie getting injured。 Their families were also throwing them together。 Good story and it also shows how women can be held to different standards than men and how it’s not always right。The Billionaire’s Impromptu Bet – Lorana HoopsBrie is a billionaire or at least her dad is) and he has decided she needs to work and learn not to spend so much。 Her rich friend Ariel is upset at the time Brie is not spending with her and coaxes her into a bet about a guy。 Brie, as she gets to know Jesse, decides to back out on the date as she wants to get to know Jesse for real。 His Christian values start to rub off on Brie and she respects him and his ways。 A real romance starts to develop until Ariel gets jealous and throws a wrench in。 Will Brie and Jesse find their way back to each other? His Perfect Catch – Narelle AtkinsMia is escaping an issue in another town and staying at her friend’s house。 Pete, the neighbor, has met Mia before at her friend’s wedding。 He helps Mia out showing her what is great about the town they are staying in。 A slow, clean romance that has a HEA。 Great storyline and the characters are great。Originally Yours – Carolyn MillerGreat story of two students at a Christian college around Christmas time。 Originally Cassie tried to setup Josiah with her friend, but he was not attracted to her and his interest was in Cassie。 The more they get together, the more they see what they have in common and the attraction that is there。 Loved the storyline and the interaction with friends。 Imperfectly Proverbs 31 – Autumn MacArthurGreat story of someone who ends up using social media to show how well she can cook and take of her nieces while her sister is out of town。 A news reporter is sent her way to do a story on her。 Is she really as good as her social media says? Find out and see how the relationship develops。 。。。more

I had an ARC for this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion。 These authors write uplifting, faith filled stories, and I enjoyed reading each one。 Fake Engagement Mistake -Lisa ReneePaul Stanford agrees to be Becca Henderson’s [his best friend’s younger sister] fake fiancé so she can convince her parents she doesn’t need to go to college。 The plot includes issues of telling the truth and standing up for oneself。 Last Flight Home – Milla HoltMacy broke up with Caleb years ago, but ends I had an ARC for this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion。 These authors write uplifting, faith filled stories, and I enjoyed reading each one。 Fake Engagement Mistake -Lisa ReneePaul Stanford agrees to be Becca Henderson’s [his best friend’s younger sister] fake fiancé so she can convince her parents she doesn’t need to go to college。 The plot includes issues of telling the truth and standing up for oneself。 Last Flight Home – Milla HoltMacy broke up with Caleb years ago, but ends up sitting next to him on a transcontinental flight。 Afterward they both think about the other and encounter each other in several places。 Can she forgive him for what she considers a wrong choice of friends? The plot features forgiveness and acceptance。 Falling for Maddie Grace – Meredith ResceWhen umpire Maddie Grace is knocked down and Zac Beecham lands on top of her she is knocked unconscious。 He had played football for her father, but she hadn’t seen him is several years。 He ends up staying in her apartment to assist her when she is released from the hospital。 His family tries to get them to become a couple after media has them in a relationship。 An interesting look at an unusual occupation for women, and a great faith themed love story。 The Billionaire’s Impromptu Bet – Lorana HoopesI liked the faith aspect Lorana included, and the way she included children with serious diseases such as cancer in the storyline。 Brie Carter, daughter of a billionaire, is paired with SWAT officer Jesse Calhoun for a project and opposites attract。 I liked the way the main characters worked through their differences。 His Perfect Catch – Narelle AtkinsWhen Mia breaks up with her fiancé she moves to her cousin’s beach house in Sapphire Bay and right next to the house Pete is renovating。 Mia works in a beauty salon and spends her spare time with Pete and her Uncle and Aunt who pastor the local church。 Mia wants to return to the city when things die down, but Pete wants to stay in Sapphire Bay。 An uplifting story of love and acceptance and working through problems。 Originally Yours – Carolyn MillerGloria Wilcox and her friends are students at Oak Grove Bible College and so is Josiah Abrahams。 Gloria is unable to go home to Georgia due to a big snowstorm so ends up staying with her friend。 Josiah has a five year plan that does not include dating, but God changes his mind。 A tender and inspiring story。 Imperfectly Proverbs 31 – Autumn MacArthurNews reporter Daniel Novak is forced to interview blogger Samantha Rose who set up the blog so her archaeologist sister could be updated on her twin’s activities while she is away。 When the blog gains acclaim Daniel suspects she is lying in some way and wants to find out what it is so he can expose it。 The plot involves Sam’s lack of homemaking and cooking skills, plus grace and forgiveness。 Definitely a heartwarming book and a must read。 。。。more

This is a wonderful collection of novellas written by Christian authors telling contemporary love stories I love that they are relatable, have some humour, sweet love and character development and are easy to read, especially in bed when I can’t sleep at night (and then I read far too long because I can’t put them down!) I especially loved Meredith Resce’s “Falling for Maddie Grace”, where the AFL Umpire literally had the star footballer falling for her and their developing love story that culminated in a romantic bare foot Christmas Eve wedding after the local Christmas Carol service! What’s not to love? My favourite story tho is Carolyn Miller’s “Originally Yours” a prequel to her still-being-released series “Original Six” I love this story of awareness of each other as fellow college students developing into friendship and the awakening of a gentle love story that I’m sure we’re going to hear more about through the series yet to come。 Carolyn’s ability to depict the humour in sharing muffled laughter in a library and the tenderness of a first kiss is second to none。 It’s certainly a great introduction to her writing style and I would certainly recommend this collection to anyone looking to get a snippet of these talented authors。 。。。more

connection, and all but one of them was new to me as a reader, although I'd seen reviews about stories written by most of them and was confident that I'd enjoy the reading experience。 I've gathered all the reviews for each story together in this post, and copied the specific reviews and posted them under the author's name here on Goodreads。I decided to pace myself, allowing a day to enjoy each story, instead of rushing on to complete the whole collection。 This turned out to be an excellent approach。#1 Fake Engagement Mistake by Lisa ReneeA solid story with a lot to like。 No false advertising, and it is clear right from the start what motivates two Christians to embark on this "fake engagement"。 I liked the way both romantic leads were honest with themselves, and the way they navigated the situations that arose was both realistic and satisfying。 #2 Last Flight Home by Milla HoltI enjoyed this second-chance story。 The characters were strong, the circumstances behind the chance meeting believable, and the storytelling had me turning pages to find out what would happen next。 Highly recommended for readers who enjoy seeing characters deal with difficult decisions。#3 Falling For Maddie Grace by Meredith ResceI loved, loved, loved this story。 There was lots of tension, including pressure from the media to make something more of an accidental encounter, and a good message about the expectations that being a Christian in the public eye brings to an innocent friendship。 There was nothing that either of the characters could do to redeem their broken reputation, except hold to the truth。 Plenty of sparks between the potential lovers and lots of witty phrases to add to the enjoyment。 I've read a few other titles by this author and I wasn't disappointed。#4 The Billionaire's Impromptu Bet by Lorana HoopesThis is a good heart transformation story with a softly, softly approach that is believable。 The billionaire's daughter is bored with her life and allows her friend to talk her into a bet。 The challenge is to persuade a man of her friend's choosing to propose to her within a month。 Right from the start, the bet seems destined for failure。 We never discover what the criteria the friend uses to choose her target, but as the story unfolds we discover that the man she must persuade is a quiet, committed Christian who is looking for more than a pretty face。 He isn't impressed by her wealth。 No spoilers here, except to say that the friend who came up with the challenge doesn't play fair。#5 Her Perfect Catch by Narelle AtkinsThis was a great story。 I was especially impressed when the hero carried in the groceries and immediately began unpacking them without waiting to be asked。 The gentle unfolding of their friendship had a good foundation on his determination to be supportive while trying not to overstep the boundaries。 Both the central characters had been hurt by a previous love interest, and the hurts they carried with them were important to the plot。 It was good to see how they resolved the past and the present to dream about a mutual future。#6。 Originally Yours by Carolyn MillerI've had a lot of reader friends recommend this author to me, but this is the first title that I've read。 The story is set in a pre-Christmas snowstorm。 Mr I've-got-a-five-year-plan meets Miss I-Don't-Need-A-Man as she deals with the disappointment of a cancelled trip home。 The characters are solid, and the story gives plenty of scope to get to know their goals and motivations。 A series of misunderstandings bring them face to face with the truth behind what they thought were God's plans for their future。#7 Imperfect Proverbs 31 by Autumn MacarthyThis was my favourite story in the Love, Faith & Kisses anthology。 From the opening note from the author to the reader right to the end, I was hooked。 A journalist who tells the truth and only the truth in his pursuit of deception and lies。 A webpage designer turned blogger who accidentally becomes a sensation after creating a homemaker blog as a way of connecting with her twin sister。 Twins, a small community that open their hearts and lives to visitors, a few household disasters and a large dog called Bear, add to the delight。 Here's one of my favourite lines, from his POV "[she's] too full of the faith he'd left behind long ago to suit him。" There were moments when I was so caught up in the difficulties that each of them were facing that I cried。 There was a happy-ever-after, but it wasn't the one that either of the central characters either expected or thought they deserved。 。。。more

Love, Faith, and Tender KissesLove, Faith, and Tender Kisses is an anthology of seven unique, inspirational, and engaging stories from around the world。 Fake Engagement Mistake, by Lisa Renee, is set in Colorado。 Paul Standford a no-nonsense CPA and Becca Henderson a free-spirited ski lift operator are an unlikely couple。 Paul is Becca’s brother’s longtime friend and Becca’s childhood crush。 He seems the perfect person to turn to when Becca devises a plan to avoid leaving Clear Creek County for Love, Faith, and Tender KissesLove, Faith, and Tender Kisses is an anthology of seven unique, inspirational, and engaging stories from around the world。 Fake Engagement Mistake, by Lisa Renee, is set in Colorado。 Paul Standford a no-nonsense CPA and Becca Henderson a free-spirited ski lift operator are an unlikely couple。 Paul is Becca’s brother’s longtime friend and Becca’s childhood crush。 He seems the perfect person to turn to when Becca devises a plan to avoid leaving Clear Creek County for the big city to attend college in pursuit of a more lucrative job and independence from her parents。 Becca learns to stand up for herself, making their fake dating unnecessary。 Paul has other ideas。 The characters are endearing, and we can all benefit from the lessons that they learn。 In Last Flight Home, Milla Holt, takes us to England with Macey Travis, a project manager, and Caleb Garner, a contractor, who sort through God’s love, forgiveness, and perfect plan as it relates to their past engagement, break-up, and surprise meeting on a cross-Atlantic flight。 Deftly written, the story reveals the devastating consequences of assuming and the importance of accountability。 Falling for Maddie Grace by Meredith Resce is just that。 Australia Rules Football player and part-time Bible School student, Zac Beecham, literally falls on Maddie Grace, the umpire, during a game。 It results in concussions of all kinds as the press has a field day with the story of the “Rev and the Ref。” The plot is unique, and the characters are vibrant。 Another unlikely pair meet through a thoughtless bet。 Brie Carter, billionaire’s daughter, and Jesse Calhoun, member of the NYC SWAT team are brought together masterfully in Loana Hoopes’ story, The Billionaire’s Impromptu Bet。 Brie hadn’t realized how empty and meaningless her life was until she was propelled into a relationship with Jesse in order to get a date with her friend’s famous brother and found the real meaning of living through service to others。 The Perfect Catch by Narelle Atkins is a Down Under romance。 Mia Radcliffe finds Sapphire Bay a respite while trying to sort out her life after a break-up and scandal。 Next door is Pete McCall who has decided to make Sapphire Bay his home。 Mia has to choose between a lucrative job offer in Sydney near her family and a life in the quiet seaside haven。 Atkins creates genuine characters and weaves an enjoyable story。 In Originally Yours, Carolyn Miller takes the reader inside a Wisconsin Bible College at Christmas and shows us through Gloria Wilcox and Josiah Abrahams important Biblical truths。 Gloria comes from a family with a poor history with marriage and a secret that she has never shared with anyone。 Josiah has a five-year plan that does not include a serious relationship。 The story is charming and delightful。 And last but certainly not least is Imperfectly Proverbs 31 by Autumn MacArthur。 Daniel Novak, an investigative reporter, who has lost his faith due his father’s hypocrisy and Samantha Rose, a web designer, who only wants her nieces to have a wonderful summer meet and clash over honesty。 Lessons about trust, grace, and forgiveness are skillfully wound into the story of a forced vacation and a lousy housekeeper。 All of the stories are engaging and concise。 The reader isn’t tediously waiting for a resolution。 I was given a copy of the boxed set for review。 A positive review was not required。 。。。more

This is a collection of international contemporary Christian romance novellas by seven different authors from Australia, England, and the USA。 It is published by The Collaborative Press from Australia, which explains why four of the seven authors are Australian (five, if you count Autumn Macarthur who is from Australia but now lives in England)。I had already read three of the stories, either in previous limited-time novella collections, or via Amazon。I’ve now read six of the seven, and have enjo This is a collection of international contemporary Christian romance novellas by seven different authors from Australia, England, and the USA。 It is published by The Collaborative Press from Australia, which explains why four of the seven authors are Australian (five, if you count Autumn Macarthur who is from Australia but now lives in England)。I had already read three of the stories, either in previous limited-time novella collections, or via Amazon。I’ve now read six of the seven, and have enjoyed all of them。Fake Engagement Mistake by Lisa ReneeThis is probably the first Christian romance I’ve read and enjoyed that features an an accountant as the hero。 I don’t have anything against accountants (I’m married to one), but other Christian romance I’ve read with accountants haven’t painted them as loveable heroes。 (They’ve been boring。) I love the fact the accountant ends up with someone who is his opposite, yet they’re a perfect match。 My only criticism is that it ended too soon 😉I have another book in this series waiting on my Kindle, and I’m looking forward to reading it。Last Flight Home by Milla HoltThis is a second-chance romance with surprising depth for a novella-length story。 Macey broke her engagement with Caleb when he sided with their friend Josh, who had cheated on his fiance。 Macey, naturally enough, saw that as condoning Josh’s behaviour。 It’s a tough situation, and I liked the way the characters worked through it, and especially the way their Chritian faith was interwoven into the story。Falling for Maddie Grace by Meredith ResceI think I’ve now read this story at least three times, even though I have exactly zero interest in Aussie Rules football。 It gets better each time I read it。 It’s the story of an AFL player who falls for (literally and romantically) the AFLs first female referee。The Billionaire’s Impromptu Bet by Lorana HoopesI know billionaire romances are hugely popular with many readers, but it’s not my favourite genre … so this is the novella I’ve yet to read。 I will 🙂His Perfect Catch by Narelle AtkinsThis features Mia, who has run away from her life in Sydney after a too-public split with her boyfriend。 She’s now hiding in a friend’s house in Sapphire Bay, and living next door to hear teenage crush, Pete。 Unfortunately, Pete thinks Mia is the same high-mainteance girl as his ex, so the course of true love is not going to run smooth。Originally Yours by Carolyn MillerThis is set in a US Bible college that forbids fraternising。 not that Gloria intends to fraternise。 She’s here to find the ministry god has for her, not find a man。 I liked her attitude:"I don’t think a woman needs a man to complete her。 That’s God’s job。"Yes, I’m a Carolyn Miller fan, and it’s because of the way she weaves counter-cultural yet Biblical truths into her stories。Imperfectly Proverbs 31 by Autumn MacarthurThis is the story of blogger Samantha rose, whose Perfectly Proverbs 31 blog has gone viral and who is now being interviewed by a handsome reporter determined to prove she’s a liar。 Which she’s not。 Sure, she can’t cook, can’t bake, and the house is never clean, but she never said she baked or cooked 。 She just never said she didn’t …Lying is a tough premise to make work in Christian fiction, but this novella does it brilliantly。 I think this was my favourite of the collection, because I loved the idea of the accidental viral blogger。What I liked most about this collection was that all the stories were unashamedly Christian, with characters who were doing their best to live out their faith。 I also appreciated the humour – I’m always a fan of a romance that can make me laugh as well as make me think。Recommended for anyone looking for some uplifting Christian romance novellas。Thanks to The Collaborative Press for providing a free ebook for review。 。。。more

I received an ARC, but all thoughts are my own。Honestly, I was really disappointed in this set。 It's called Love, Faith, and Tender Kisses。 I found more infatuation than love (you can't grow to fully love someone in a week, after all), and more of a lack of true faith than faith (suddenly page flips and oh yeah, this character is now a mature Christian! cheers)。 The only thing the title promised and then the story delivered was the kisses。Another problem I had with this set was how quickly the c I received an ARC, but all thoughts are my own。Honestly, I was really disappointed in this set。 It's called Love, Faith, and Tender Kisses。 I found more infatuation than love (you can't grow to fully love someone in a week, after all), and more of a lack of true faith than faith (suddenly page flips and oh yeah, this character is now a mature Christian! cheers)。 The only thing the title promised and then the story delivered was the kisses。Another problem I had with this set was how quickly the characters changed。 Anyone here who's changed from a spoiled brat to a responsible adult who's in love with a cute guy overnight? Like seriously? (That was The Billionaire's Impromptu Bet。) Or how about going from hardly talking to each other to engaged in one or two days? (Originally Yours) Or would you rather go from freezing a guy out to kissing him the next time you see him? (Last Flight Home) And especially if you are a Christian, isn't lying/deceit/hypocrisy wrong? (Fake Engagement Mistake)I was going to like Falling for Maddie Grace。。。 And then there was a lot of innuendo。 Ok, I'm going to sound like a goody-goody, but that was a bit over the line for me。 Yes, sex is a part of marriage, but it's not what marriage is all about!I also enjoyed Perfect Catch。 But, where was the faith? Oh, right, after moving from Sydney, Mia's faith become more important to her。 She went to church, and she prayed a bit。 End of story。 Imperfectly Proverbs31 was my favourite of the whole set。 Except, I was annoyed (again!) with how the faith aspect of the book was handled。 Throughout most of the book, Daniel was a diehard agnostic (I would say atheist, except it seemed like he did believe God exists。) About halfway through the book, I turned a page and was informed Daniel was a Christian。 Just like that。 Um。。。 Why couldn't the readers see when he became a Christian instead of merely being informed of the fact? However, I very much appreciated the emphasis on purity in relationships and waiting for marriage。 I did somewhat enjoy the books, because despite the deficiency in content, the writing itself was fairly good。 Plus, I love happy endings lol。 I could also tell that there had been work put into these novellas。 。。。more

I found this box set a little difficult to review as I felt the books were quite a mixed lot, some not really my cup of tea (for various reasons)。 So this is a review of the two I particularly enjoyed, which were both five-star books for me: Originally Yours and Imperfectly Proverbs 31。 Also, a note to potential purchasers: these are all previously published books, so be aware that you may have read some or all of these already (I'd read a couple of them)。Originally Yours: Josiah has a five-year I found this box set a little difficult to review as I felt the books were quite a mixed lot, some not really my cup of tea (for various reasons)。 So this is a review of the two I particularly enjoyed, which were both five-star books for me: Originally Yours and Imperfectly Proverbs 31。 Also, a note to potential purchasers: these are all previously published books, so be aware that you may have read some or all of these already (I'd read a couple of them)。Originally Yours: Josiah has a five-year plan, and it doesn't include marriage。 Even when he starts to notice Gloria, he still refuses to consider marriage。 Then his friend Pete points out that maybe his five-year plan isn't God's five-year plan - and that's far more important! Could Pete be right? This was at once amusing and touching, and I really enjoyed it。 I appreciated the point that God's plans don't always match ours, and we need to be open to his leading。 I also enjoyed getting to know Gloria and Josiah (and their friends a bit)。 I'd like it to be a full-length novel, really - but it was still good as a satisfying if brief escape。Imperfectly Proverbs 31: Sam started her blog to keep her travelling sister updated with her kids' adventures while staying with Sam for the summer。 Unfortunately, her beautiful work on the blog attracts attention, and she becomes instantly famous as a perfect housewife - which she and her family know is so far from the truth it's not funny。 When Daniel is sent to interview her, she tries to hide her failures for the kids' sake - without success。 Daniel's past makes him fight for the truth at all costs。 But maybe they've both got some lessons to learn。I've actually read this one before, but I loved re-reading it - it reminded me why I enjoyed it so much。 I love the way that it shows the importance of truth, but points out that if it's only one side of the truth, it can be untrue。 Our assessments need to be balanced, and framed from God's point of view。 Also, as a not naturally neat and tidy person, I appreciated the point that such things aren't the most important things in life - people and the way we interact with them matter far more。 A touching story with some great lessons amidst the amusing scenes of culinary disaster!Summary: This box set contains a range of authors and storylines, and there's probably something for every lover of contemporary romance novellas。Note that I received a review copy of the book。 I was not required to write a positive review and this is my considered opinion of the two novellas I have mentioned。 。。。more

Love, Faith and Tender Kisses boxset is a great boxset written by 7 authors。 There is a story for every romance reader。 Also, the length of the stories is just right to read out in one sitting。 I have read almost all the stories, but I will pick out two that stood out for me to discuss。 First of all: Fake Engagement Mistake by Lisa Renee。This story is about Becca and Paul。 Her parents have ordered Becca to go to college, but she would much rather be working outdoors。 Therefore, she devises a pla Love, Faith and Tender Kisses boxset is a great boxset written by 7 authors。 There is a story for every romance reader。 Also, the length of the stories is just right to read out in one sitting。 I have read almost all the stories, but I will pick out two that stood out for me to discuss。 First of all: Fake Engagement Mistake by Lisa Renee。This story is about Becca and Paul。 Her parents have ordered Becca to go to college, but she would much rather be working outdoors。 Therefore, she devises a plan together with Paul, her brother's friend。 They will first date and then get engaged。 But then their feelings show up。 A sweet story with a nice plot。 Nice to see that Becca, despite not agreeing with her parents, still values them。The third in this boxset: Falling for Maddie Grace by Meredith Resce。This story is about Maddie Grace and Zac。 Maddie has been around the football field since she was a kid and is now a referee。 One day she is knocked out by Zac, a boy who used to be on her father's team。 A funny story, which reads really well。 The characters are well written, so that you can sympathise with them。Overall, this is a must for anyone who loves sweet, clean and Christian romance。I voluntarily received a copy from this book from the publisher and was not required to write a positive review。 All opinions are my own。 。。。more

Is this a second chance at romance or just additional heartbreak? In Falling for Maddie Grace an on-the-field collision knocks umpire Maddie Grace out and brings her back into the life of one of her father's former players。 Zac has had no problem avoiding romance and holding true to his morals but when he knocks out Maddie Grace everything is about to get muddled up。 Before Maddie had always been just one of the guys and coach Jimmy's daughter but now that he's injured her and she needs his assistance he starts to see her differently。 Could they have something more and not become just another sensational-rumor-filled headline? In The Billionaire's Impromptu Bet a bet between "friends" to get a random guy to propose within a month takes an unexpected turn when entitled Brie Carter is given an ultimatum by her father。 Get a job or get married within a month or you are on your own。 SWAT Officer Jesse Calhoun isn't impressed by spoiled little rich girl Brie。 But when Brie gets a job at the local coffee place and starts spending time with him he realizes he may have misjudged her。 But with a secret bet between them do they even have a chance of a happily ever after? In His Perfect Catch Mia Radcliffe takes an extended break from her life in Sydney, hiding out in Sapphire Bay to avoid the social fallout of her ex's fall from everything amid a political scandal。 What she never expected was to connect with her cousins' next door neighbor。 Pete McCall has been flipping properties and has bought a beach house in need of a major over-all but he has a promise to keep where Mia is concerned。 But keep an eye out for Mia isn't a problem as the two connect over missing keys and coffee。 But when their life plans seemingly lead them in opposite directions is there hope for what might be? Or has their chance at romance ended before it truly has a chance to start?Originally Yours is set in Wisconsin just as Christmas break is getting ready to start。 Gloria has been planning on returning to her family home in Georgia when a winter storm disrupts her plans。 But Gloria has a personality that finds her always in an upbeat helpful frame of mind。 But missing Christmas with her family brings to light some of her past issues and may be behind her avoidance of any romance in her life。 Josiah doesn't have time for romance - he has a plan and it is set in stone。 Unfortunately for him he didn't check with God first。 This Christmas just might find two people not looking for romance with an unexpected gift - but it may take a nudge or two from their friends to see the possibilities。In Imperfectly Proverbs 31 we meet Daniel who is forced into investigating a blogger Samantha (Sam) who seems too good to be true。 Sam feels that she has to put a perfect persona out there, that she needs to be the woman of Proverbs 31 (don't we all at times)。 But Daniel is against any hint of untruth and sets up a potentially tense situation for the two of them。 Overall this is a great collection of novellas and a perfect introduction to seven distinct authors。 Looking for clean reads and romance with a faith based foundation? Well。 you will want to pick up this set。 It is perfect for when you want to enjoy a quick story (think at the most two or three hours of book relaxation per story)。 I was provided a complimentary copy of this book with no expectations but that I offer my honest opinion。 All thoughts expressed are my own。 。。。more

I’m excited about this new set of books by some of my favorite romance authors and have just finished ‘Fake Engagement Mistake’ by Lisa Renee。In this first book from the boxed set, Becca Henderson has a problem that many can identify with。 Her parents want her to go to college and leave her beloved Georgetown, in Clear Creek County。 Becca comes up with the plan of a fake engagement with handsome Paul。 Paul already has feelings for Becca and with misgivings, agrees。 But inevitable consequences an I’m excited about this new set of books by some of my favorite romance authors and have just finished ‘Fake Engagement Mistake’ by Lisa Renee。In this first book from the boxed set, Becca Henderson has a problem that many can identify with。 Her parents want her to go to college and leave her beloved Georgetown, in Clear Creek County。 Becca comes up with the plan of a fake engagement with handsome Paul。 Paul already has feelings for Becca and with misgivings, agrees。 But inevitable consequences and complications arise。A favorite scene of mine is at the dance where Paul and Becca make an effort to display their ‘pretend’ affection。 They do this, especially for rumour-monger Mrs。 Baxter。 A hilarious and tension-filled scene unfolds, causing Bec to rethink her motives。This is an enjoyable and humorous rom-com。 It provides the reader with much-needed light, inspirational, and heart-warming entertainment。 。。。more
